Seattle was the objective of our trip, and we were really happy when we got there. We went on the bus that took us everywhere. We saw Pike Market, a troll under the bridge, the Space Needle, the monorail, ate my way through the city. The weather was perfect, and I think I am madly in love with the city. It also helped that we had a wonderful tour guide.
On our way home we made a lot of side trips. We went camping in Ashland, OR. (I will never return there though.) We stopped to eat cherries and strawberries on the side of the freeway. We hiked through Mt. Shasta Lake. We went hunting for wine, and we ended up in San Francisco.
San Francisco is such a exciting city. We spend our last official vacation day hanging out in the city eating clam chowder and riding the trolley. There was also a lot of shopping involved. I think I bought a truckload worth of postcards.
I had an amazing trip, and I am looking forward until I can travel again. I had a really good time, and it's always sad to come home, no matter how homesick you are. :)
