Parallel Parking

I totally embarrass myself whenever I have to parallel park. It's not even an understatement as I have had many people tell me how horrible I am.

I have this fear that I will hit someone if I was ever to attempt to parallel park. I believe my fear is rational as it would not surprise anyone if that were to occur.

Today I tried to parallel my tiny car into a huge space with great difficulties. I also happened to attempt the parking with a friend in the car. I think she's used to my terrible driving, but she did mention her neighbors watching me with interest and laughing.

I am not terribly offended as I am well aware of my lack of ability to park. However it was a little bit embarrassing when they all smiled at us.

I don't imagine myself getting better anytime soon, but one can hope for miracles. I'm just glad my driving amuses some people. :)
