German Deli

I had the most delightful experience with a deli today. My brother and his girlfriend had decided to take me to lunch to a German deli called Matter Sausage & Meat in Orange.

Yelp has amazing reviews on the place, and all of us wanted a new place to try. We were tired of the things we usually eat, and we could not agree on any other place to eat.

The place is this really little deli in a random corner of the street. The place didn't "wow" us or make us think it would be any good. It just looks like you are going to deli. There were rows of German sausage and meat. They even sold German groceries. They had German beer in a little keg, German cookies, German pasta, and I could go on and on.

We ordered three different sandwiches, macaroni salad, and fruit strudels. EVERYTHING was amazing. The sandwich was soft and tasty. I usually hate mustard, but their special mustard was amazing. It wasn't too tangy, but there was a definite mustard taste.

Everything was delicious, and I want to come back and try all their other sandwiches. I'm not really a sandwich person, but this place is definitely changing my mind. :) I really do love food.
